AIRLINE SERVICE ON GRAND CANYON SCENIC AIRLINES HAS BEEN SUSPENDED
Scheduled airline service between Safford Regional Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines has been suspended due to the depletion of the MRG funding that supported this service.
Over the last nine months, Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines has provided an exceptional level of service with a 95% on time performance record and zero controllable cancellations.  The City of Safford has enjoyed an amazing relationship with Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines and looks forward to the opportunity to re-initiate service if funding becomes available through the State of Arizona or another grant funding source.
