The Safford Airshow is a thrilling aerial event that showcases a variety of aircraft performances, demonstrations, and displays. Held in Safford, AZ at Safford Regional Airport, the Airshow features high-flying aerobatics, precision maneuvers by expert pilots, and ground displays of vintage and modern aircraft.You can expect an exciting day filled with breathtaking stunts, jaw-dropping flyovers, and opportunities to interact with pilots and explore aircraft up close! 2024 Airshow Performers
Alfred Maldonado
Alfred Maldonado is bringing his Fouga Magister jet to the Air Show. Come out and witness an incredible aerobatic performance!
MicroJet Airshows
This tiny jet will complete a demonstration consisting of basic aerobatic maneuvers such as loops, rolls, point rolls, ½ Cuban 8s, humpty bumps and inverted arcs.   The speed range of the performance is between 90 – 300 mph and G forces between +5 and -1.
Anthony Oshinuga
Anthony is an Air Race pilot and Airshow performer. His Pitts-S1 bi-plane was purpose-built for aerobatics. Anthony will put on an amazing routine full of smoke, aerobatics, and amazing feats!
Dan Kirkland
Dan flies his historic T-28 Trojan in an Aerobatic routine that is sure to impress. This particular aircraft was built to win air races, and now performs on the airshow circuit.
Desert Rats
The Desert Rats Warbird Formation Team is composed of former USAF and RCAF pilots who fly the Nanchang CJ-6 warbird trainer. The aircraft is used as the primary trainer for the Chinese Air Force and is similar to many WWII era aircraft; with a nine cylinder radial engine and pneumatic/mechanical controls. It is a rugged and simple aircraft that is particularly adept at formation training.
Western Pilot
A crowd favorite, Western Pilot is returning with one of their Air Tractor AT-802 Single Engine Air Tankers to demonstrate Aerial Fire-Fighting tactics.
Erik Swanson
Erik is bringing his historic T-6 "Texan" World War II training aircraft to demonstrate the power of this legendary aircraft!
Static Displays
The spectator ramp will feature numerous static displays for attendees to walk through and enjoy, including an Army C-27, Coast Guard PB4Y "Privateer", AZ Army National Guard Blackhawk, T-28 "Trojan", UH-1 "Huey", and a PT-26!

Take a ride in a retired U.S. Army Cobra attack helicopter or UH-1 "Huey"!
FM2 Wildcat
The FM-2 Wildcat is an improved version of the famous Grumman F4F-4. The Wildcat was a frontline fighter for the Navy and Marine Corps during World War II and was utilized during the US victory at the Battle of Midway.
Skydive Aerial Extreme
The Arizona Aerial Extreme Skydiving Team, based out of Phoenix, formed in 1997. The Aerial Extreme Skydiving Team will be performing a two-man skydive to open the airshow!
